ACC proven in this bowl season to be the strongest conference this year.

Harbaugh and Meyer, it's just too damn funny. At least 2016 ended well

I didn't want Bama ... but, then again, Sham is still remembered as a pretty damn good racehorse.

Meyer had not lost by more than 14 at Ohio State before tonight.

Saban has never lost by more than 14 at Alabama, though a couple of games (particularly the Sugar Bowl vs. Utah) were not as close as the final score.

A lot of people blame the Rose Bowl for the rigidity of the "New Year's Six" schedule, but the Orange Bowl also demands to be at night because of its halftime show, and the Sugar Bowl also prefers to be at night so that people can get their food and drink on the Quarter before the game, I guess.

All invalid reasons. Adapt or else.

And really, it isn't fair for me to call them out. At that point they're getting them, so make the best of it. And it isn't like they aren't supposed to want to be champions. But what fun is college football when you try to have peace and understanding?

The NIT was the hottest ticket at Madison Square Garden too until the NCAA decided it gave zero fucks and went with something better.

I'd take Clemson based on what I saw today.

But I'd take USC over all of them combined.

Maybe they can do a "plus-1" game with USC vs the College All-Stars.
