My contempt for the Rose Bowl is well known but that tribute to the last player from the '42 game that had to be moved due to Pearl Harbor was well done.

Not only that but it was also Duke's last bowl game that actually meant something.

Nick Saban is about to fire Penn State's entire staff.

And now the 72 Dolphins miss a field goal.

And USC can't take advantage. Maybe they're not that good?

Hoping Penn State wins so their crying about this can replace the crying over 1994.

Penn State receivers are clearly intimidated by the best team in college football.

Either this is the 2nd best team in the country, or Penn State is a bunch of quivering losers. This isn't close.

Congrats to your Gators, Matt. Other than a few decent running plays, Florida's D completely overmatched Iowa's offense, and the Hawkeye defense showed it's good enough ... to tackle Big Ten ballcarriers.

Speaking of that, another rough year for the Big Ten in bowls. To think people were arguing for two B1G teams in the playoff?
