Exactly. To a point, I doubt Musberger has ever had reason to reconsider his 1985 position on DV from his Montana cabin and it's a poor decision by the people running the broadcast to allow him to improvise on a topic where he was about 99% likely to step in it on a national broadcast.

If it has to pay Sumlin's buyout, Aggie will be grateful for the relative savings a coordinator promotion will mean.

That's some starman-level stupidity, right there.

It was a down year for the league. Other than Bama, everyone was playing about a slot higher than talent ordinarily would dictate.

The Hawaii Bowl would have been a slot higher than Arkansas deserved.

So, everybody thinks Mixon shouldn't ever play football again?

Before the video came out, though, everything was fine.

I don't think it's that as much as Burnt sucking the kid's dong on air.

Oklahoma should have moved him out.

I think that was part of what Brent was saying poorly. He thinks Mixon should be glad to get the second chance. The fail was hoping he succeeded at the next level.

I thought he should have been kicked off in 2014 (and I think I said so around here). But no way do you kick him off prior to the Sugar Bowl just because the video was released.

I don't understand the opinion that he shouldn't play at Oklahoma, but he can play somewhere else.
