Yeah, they used to draw 3-4,000 a game when they played downtown (finishing 13th-15th out of 16 teams in attendance).

I know NBA writers will approve. Drive to/from airport to Auburn Hills area a horror.

That will be interesting...the Red Wings and Pistons always said their fan-bases were in very different locations, which is why the hockey team wouldn't consider moving to where the basketball club is and vice versa.

Ilitch must have made Gores an offer he couldn't refuse.

Best Dead show I ever saw was at the Palace. We left Piscataway early in the morning and bombed across the Belt Belt, into Michigan, up past Detroit, reached the Palace and got to our seats just as the lights went down and the curtains went up. Was a great show.

Frank Kaminsky putting on an entertaining show in a game the Hornets look set to lose. But 22 points in 13 minutes of action. 9-of-10 from the field and 3 blocks.

The drive from Metro to the downtown arena won't be any picnic either. It's certainly not like Gores or Ilitch or any of them give a shit about that.

After a couple of poor defensive games, which they still had a chance to win, they get back to it over OKC.

Wow Brandon Inghram must be ROY right? That team was horrible last year. Luke's pretty cool dude and guess he knows BB too.

Ingram is averaging seven points per game. It's early, but Embiid is leading the ROY race by a furlong.

Also, D'Angelo Russell has missed the last 2 games.
