At just a shade over 25 percent reported (121 of of 470 ballot):

Griffey is still at 100 percent
    Piazza is at 90.1 percent
    Bagwell is at 85.1 percent
    Raines is at 80.2 percent
Hoffman is at 63.6 percent (by comparison Lee Smith is at 30.6)
    Schilling is at 61.2 percent
    Mussina is at 57 percent
    Bonds is at 50.4 percent
    Clemens/Edgar are at 49.6 percent
Trammell getting a nice last-ballot kiss at 47.9

McGriff already has enough votes to stay on the ballot. Kent needs five more to clinch his spot in 2016. Sheffield, Sosa and Walker need a little help to get there. Wagner is in trouble, having gone 0-for-the-last 21 ballots, and Edmonds is on life support, still stuck on three votes.

I knew Griffey and Piazza would get in. I can't believe that Bagwell is potentially in line to sneak across this year.

Excited to see raines with a cushion. Curious that griffey is still at 100 percent.

Could we have 4-man classes in back-to-back years after not having one for 60 years? That would be cool.

Rains is gonna slip below the threshhold. The fact that he is above it this long is a strong indication for 2017. If Bagwell can stay above 80 percent as the total nears 200 ballots, I think he'll sneak over.

Steven Marcus looked at the ballot and saw no holdovers worthy -- voted for Griffey and Hoffman

    With three days to go:

At just a shade over 30 percent reported (143 of 469 ballots):

Griffey is still at 100 percent
    Piazza is at 87.4 percent
    Bagwell is at 81.8 percent
    Raines is at 80.4 percent
Hoffman is at 61.5 percent (by comparison Lee Smith is at 30.1)
    Schilling is at 60.8 percent
    Mussina is at 56.6 percent
    Bonds/Edgar are at 49.7 percent
    Clemens is at 49 percent
Trammell getting a nice last-ballot kiss at 46.2

Over those same ballots, Edgar has gained 25 votes, Mussina has gained 23, Bagwell has gained 19, Trammell has gained 17 and Raines has gained 11.

Wagoner has gotten 14 votes (9.8 percent) and need at least nine votes to guarantee staying on the ballot. Walker, Kent and Sosa still need a handful of votes to stay on ballot. Edmonds has four votes.

Can someone explain to me how you can vote for Bonds & Clemens, but not also vote for Sosa?

I get that Bonds and Clemens were dominant in a way that puts them in an argument for "best ever" if you ignore PEDs. And Sosa wasn't.

But Sosa still has numbers that would scream hall of fame in a PED vacuum.

If you are going to ignore PEDs, or don't care about them, how do you end up with Bonds and Clemens on your ballot, but exclude Sosa?

    What's the over/under on Griffey's final percentage? 96.5?

Some people think Bonds and Clemens already had Hall-of-Fame resumes before they started using PEDs.

Not saying it's a good reason, but that's what some people think.

One question I had that one of you can probably answer ...

If a Hall of Fame voter does not submit a ballot at all (as opposed to submitting a blank ballot), does that count as one of the total ballots?

In other words, does it count against the 75 percent needed for election?
