Great. But it's perfectly reasonably to make Tim Raines one of someone's 10 votes.

 

Don't lash out. Win the fucking argument. There are more than 10 valid HOFers on the ballot.

 

I disagree. And Raines has, what, 2 years left? I won't be stunned if he makes it. I will be if Schilling or Mussina does.

Raines' last year is next year.
You will be stunned then. There are no starters coming in the next couple years -- Halladay is the best in 2019 -- that will keep people from voting for Schilling and Mussina.

 

It's a good thing you're going to make your way onto the Veterans' Committee.

 

Both Mussina and Schilling will. They are both slam dunk Hall of Famers, and they are getting hurt in part because everyone wants to jizz their shorts voting for Griffey and Greg Maddux.

 

Slam dunk? OK.

 

Anyway, the goal posts have been moved. A voter is perfectly reasonable voting for 10 other than Griffey. And whether you necessarily would vote for all of them, there are at least 10 other arguably worthy HOFers on the ballot. And, again, in the history of the voting, that's not unusual.
