How appropriate that when the World Series starts tonight, Thomas Jackson, a black plumber from Buffalo Grove, will be able to use any water fountain available at Wrigley Field - they had colored only fountains the last time the Cubs were in the World Series. How appropriate!

How appropriate that Theo Epstein will be able to watch the Cubs from the stadium without an identifying tattoo. The last time the Cubs were in the World Series, his ancestors were dying in ovens!

How appropriate that Hillary Clinton can be the Democratic presidential nominee. There were no women nominees the last time the Cubs were in the World Series. How appropriate!

 

Don't look at me. Their whole shitbox of a ballpark could burn to the ground today for all I care.
