Pete Rose and Alex Rodriguez are very good analysts.

Final year of Romo's contract. Yeah he's pretty much done. Let's not forget in 12 and 14 when Giants won, he had a postseason WHIP under 1. Like sgreenwell said relievers fall of the cliff quickly. They also climb to the top quickly. Keith Foulke gutted out a lot of games when Boston won in 04. the next season he looked like he couldn't get double-a batters out.

Moore did as much as you could have asked of him. If your bullpen can't get 3 outs without giving up 3 runs, you weren't going to win the World Series anyway.

OK did I just see Theo Epstein hug Ted Cruz? I guess I didn't. But Google tells me from a few months ago that I'm probably not the only one who thought I saw that.

Terry Collins thought the same about Matt Harvey last year.

Because he was going for a no-hitter. And they were nervous as hell and thought about taking him out.

He's two years off TJ surgery. 120 pitches and a three-run lead is enough.

An hour after that flustercluck and I still don't know what to say. Seen it so many times since the All-Star break it becomes numbing.

Giants GM Bobby Evans said he wished he had done more to get Melancon, though if I remember correctly, he walked back that statement a bit later.
