True, but he's just thrown over there eight times in a row and you know he's got a good, quick move even if it's borderline illegal. Maybe shorten up the lead a step just in case he does it again.

If there is anybody who should be respected it is old time baseball media. They have adapted well to the changes in the game.

    What an asinine post.

The Wrigley atmosphere will turn to ghost the moment anything goes wrong.

Baker is a cherry-picking dolt who has a knack for taking jobs of teams poised to win and taking credit for them before they crash out and all their pitchers get hurt.

But veteran baseball writers say he's the nicest guy around.

Um ... yes. That's what I just said.

    I covered him.

I don't know what this is in response to. Certainly nothing in my post that I can see.

Last time I was there when something went wrong, it didn't turn to ghost. Rather, fans started throwing things at another fan and threatening his life.

I've got the Jays over the Indians in 5 (probably with Cleveland's 1 coming tonight since they've got Kluber lined up and the home crowd). Cubs over Dodgers in 6. LA burned up too much to get to the series and will be too far behind to get back into it once they're back at full steam.

The kid is too young to a have a parole violation on his record so he's not ready to be a Sox fan yet.
