    Maddon goes to the righty. Pederson hit .269 with 24 HRs against righties and .125 with one HR against lefties.

    Unlike Buck just said, the height at which the ball is hit has nothing to do with it. It it totally the umpire's judgement as to whether the ball could be easily caught by an infielder.

    Kershaw done after 85 pitches and at the bottom of the order.

    This has to mean he is starting Game 5 and in the pen for Game 7.

    He's considered a pitcher's umpire I think, but not egregiously so.

    But yeah, that strike 1 call to Bryant was ridiculous.
