Sale had to face nine hitters in a lineup, Jake just eight.

I understand this theory, but this neglects the fact that Cub fans are already in the top 3 on the Douchebaggery Scale.

BTW, I like Schilling. The guy plays Advanced Squad Leader.

Went tonight...Funny, I was in one of TBS's crowd shots.

Going back to Toronto's last game of the season, tomorrow afternoon. This series is more depressing than the politics thread.

In six games, Indians have allowed what, 11-12 runs against the highest-scoring and one of the highest-scoring teams in baseball this year. Not much to be done about that.

It's really a shame that Steve Bartman was treated the way he was. If the Cubs win the World Series it would be cool to have him throw the first pitch at the home opener.

If the Cubs win the Series he ought to be riding front and center in the fucking parade.

Next to Alex Gonzalez, who was the real goat of that game.

I blame Moises Alou. He could have done a lot to diffuse that situation but chose not to.

re: The replay leading to an out on the slide, I actually thought the tag "pushed" the runner off the base, too. I had the sound down though, so I couldn't tell if that was addressed by the announcing team.
