I really don't understand what your response argument is regarding Arrieta that it makes me a troll. I really don't. Is there a counter argument afoot that he has pitched well the last few months that makes me inaccurate? Is this a Cubs fan site and I didn't know it? How am I a "troll" re: Arrieta?

I have explained it and honestly, I doubt you are being honest in saying you need an explanation.

Fake oblivious Dickie is not my favorite Dickie.

If I'm Maddon, I'm going smallball tonight. Piss on 3-run homers. Bunt and move, bunt and move.
Big ball isn't working. Time to play smallball.

    You need base runners first.

    That would require baserunners.

And, they don't do it and are no good at it. They had two non-pitchers (Zobrist and Ross) who had more than one sac bunt this season. Their team leader in steals had 13.

What small ball thing have the Cubs not been doing?

    Stealing first.

They did have a steal of home in this series.

They wouldn't have had that if the catcher didn't foolishly throw the ball to third, opening the way for Baez (?) to run on home.

    I know. I'm just kidding.

All of which occurred because the Cubs were attempting a safety squeeze

Ryan Merritt is not shaking quite as Joey Bats had hoped.
