    And Elvis Andrus got one for a swing at Pillar that I never did see. Others who weren't suspended will get fines.

    Probably. Life will be tough on $13.913 million instead of $14 million.

    ETA: However, the whole thing ultimately traces back to Bat Flip, and I'd wager he has earned that $86,000 many times over in related marketing.

    Well, when you figure in taxes, he's only really out something like $51,000 ...

    ETA: You know, MLB and the players' union ought to set it up such that players can serve their suspensions when they're on the road in high-tax states ... Money not earned in, say, New York hurts far less than money not earned in Texas. Although I would appreciate @Amy weighing in to verify that I'm thinking of this correctly.

    According to Gerry Fraley of the DMN, you get your full pay and service credit for on-the-field suspensions.

    Shawn Tolleson with his third blown save in a week and a half. A walkoff Gettysburg Address, no less. The Rangers have much better options for closer in that bullpen.
