Just bad optics all around. Made the Yankees and Girardi look like whiners and made the umps look like they were in the Yankees' pocket.

The only good way out was to wait out the rain and finish the ninth inning no matter how late. Otherwise the Rangers had a good case to protest the game.

I have had countless triumphs here. But Jake Arrieta pitching five innings after five days of oop getting increasingly unhinged about me saying Jake Arrieta pitches five innings is top five for me.

It is easy to rack up "triumphs" when you declare victory whether you win or lose, which is what you have done on this thread and on many, many other occasions.

Pointing out that you are trolling the thread is becoming unhinged? Typical Dickie. When the facts don't fit your story, you make shit up.

I've pointed out the statistical flaws in your arguments on this thread. So have others. I'm not interested in feeding into your trolling or saving you time. You will just lie or run away from your failure as you always do, so I'm going to remind you to scroll up.

I did tell you I'd consider it if you asked nicely, but you failed to do even that, so do your own reading. I already did the work.

I'm very up front and conciliatory when I lose. I've conceded it countless times on here. I've dredged up old threads to concede mistakes that no one would have ever noticed - to the point that some of the people who made this place what it is PM'ed me to say what a stand-up act it was. I wasn't going for credit. It was the right thing to do.

The "Prominent posters PM me" Dick is back. I was wondering where he went.

I would say that these were a couple of posters I didn't even realize were still around.

    He didn't say, "please."

They're subtle admissions of defeat, subtle like pitcher wins. Important but not worthy of full blown trumpeting.
