    Oh, you'd be arguing.

Probably, but not that particular argument. :)

I know most baseball opinions are awful, but I'm surprised "the Pirates got worse" is so unpopular. They clearly did.

    McHugh: 0.1, 4 ER, 43 pitches.

Yanks still up, 6 and counting.

Oop has been banging this drum for years.
Maybe they don't believe in signing expensive free agents.
The Cardinals largely don't, either. Because they're a factory for young talent like the Pirates have become.

I don't really care, it just amuses me to watch oop foam at the mouth ... but missing the playoffs for the first time in four years doesn't seem like evidence of dysfunction.

The Cutch Humpty Dumpty spot on MLB is amusing. Buccos clearly are worse if Humpty doesn't trust jumping into an MVP's glove.

    Dear Dan Plesac,

    Stop moving so much.

    Correa slam, 6-5.

And now it's 9-5 in the second. Good thing the Yanks have a solid field-goal kicker.

    • The Pirates look a lot more like the Brewers. They had a run of young talent and some success too, but couldn't sustain it.

Funny you mention the Brewers, Stain.
These Cubs could turn out like the 2006-11 era Brewers.
Ton of homegrown talents that never reached their potential, and a nucleus that slowly dissipated.
