You know what's weird? KC beat up on Sale and Samardzija last year and also did pretty well Corey Kluber, Sonny Gray, Chris Archer and Dallas Keuchel.

But when the White Sox sent Danks out there he stymied the Royals almost every time.

Danks is still capable of a good performance, but he just doesn't have the stuff anymore to do that very often.

I had a bad feeling this morning when everyone was being reassuring about the ankle, then, as an afterthought, noting that he was going to have his knee tested today.

    Ugh.

He's just not a major league starting pitcher at this stage of his career. I'm sure he has a long career as a middle reliever ahead of him, but I can't see him staying in the rotation through April. They signed Miguel Gonzalez for a reason.

His knee will sit encased atop the scoreboard through October.

And they enjoyed it so much, they scored 10 more today. 11-5 in the eighth.

Maybe next time choose a real outfielder to play one of the bigger alleys in the game

    Quite a Story, 4 games, 6 homers.

Nothing happening through five in the major league debut of Dodgers pitcher Ross Stripling. 65 pitches.
