    This is going to get very interesting for rookie manager Dave Roberts. Stripling had TJ surgery in 2014 and presumably would be on a pretty tight pitch count.

    There was a reliever warming up in the seventh, too. He walked the leadoff batter and went 3-1 to the next batter, then got a double play.
