    Oct. 15, 1892 actually makes sense since there was no postseason then. And because there was a grown mam named "Bumpus."
    On Oct. 15, 1982, they should have been about to start the World Series.

    Yeah, my mistake on 1892, not 1982. Guess I should check myself before slagging AP.

    Bumpus Jones had the nickname "Moonshine." Glad this happened tonight just to learn about this guy. Has a Moonlight Graham vibe.

    Did anyone else notice the Cubs catcher trying to make a play on the runner between first and second after the walkoff run scored? Nice awareness.
