After the first two games of that series, if you told me a 1-0 game was coming, I would have laughed. Gausman has been on fire of late. Porcello was close to perfect, save for one mistake to Trumbo. Several great defensive plays on a really weird wind night at Fenway. O's go to Tampa, Detroit and Boston and come out with three series wins. I certainly can't ask for much more. Gonna be a nailbiting couple of weeks. Forgot how much fun/gut-wrenching it is to have your team in this spot.

Shutting out this Sox lineup in Fenway is quite a feat.

Mookie gets four games at his favorite venue next week. I expect him to hit at least five home runs in the series at Camden Yards.

Watched him (and Bogaerts and Bradley and Shaw) coming up through Salem in the Carolina League, and I never thought Betts would develop that sort of power. Boston has done a great job of building from within.

When did Trout change his name to Mookie?

A real hit or miss kind of batter.

Olney's story on the Preller investigation was really something. Guy sounds totally trustworthy.

Yeah, Odor is batting .280 and his OBP is something like .298.
