Bonds leading off and Mike Diaz as the cleanup hitter. Yes, there was such a day.

I think I just saw the Dutch Oven went 2.2 and gave up 11 earned.

He'll be able to help them match Emanski's greatness by then.

I agree Strasburg is not likely to sign with the Yankees, but then I thought there was no way in hell Greinke would go to Los Angeles, or that Randy Johnson would go to the Bronx.

Yanks have a guy picked off second for the final out of top-9 in a 0-0 game with the Orioles.

Yanks answer in bottom-9 when Ackley takes a homer away at the hot dog sign in right then doubles up the runner at first.

Strasburg is as meek as it gets, so the more I think about it, the more I think I underestimated the likelihood he'll end up in the Bronx.

He would get ate up in the AL East.
There are no Erick Aybars and Justin Bours getting 4 ABs a night in the division.

Strasburg is going to Southern California, I'm convinced. He's on-record as saying he doesn't like to pitch in cold weather.

The Angels (who will have Jered Weaver's $20M off the books) or Dodgers (who have nearly unlimited resources) would certainly be a fit. And expect the Padres to go all-out for the local boy.

Colin Rea has thrown six no-hit innings for the Padres, who have never thrown a no-hitter, against the Mets, who had the longest no-hit drought until 2012.
