    The scary thing about the Cubs is they've got the resources to go out and get a second ace, or an ace if Arrieta regresses. The only hope for the Mets & Nats is that a rotation of Arrieta-Lester-Lackey-Hammel won't stand up come October. (Oh and the Nats have no hope if Scherzer is as bad as he's looked thus far)

    The homer stands but only 1 run because Ozuna, the lead runner, went back to touch first without paying attention to Realmuto behind him, who hit the homer and rounded first as Ozuna was going back to tag.

    Wait, now it might be a single and RBI but who scored and why a single?

    Billy Ripken says it's the stupidest scoring ruling he's ever heard of. I don't quite get it. Ball went over the wall, so how is it a single?

    With good reason. For a Boras client to sign an extension in his walk year is more or less unprecedented.
