The NL East? Is this for real? Florida and Philly are good or just a lucky streak?

Philly is playing way over their heads and god it's fun.

Marlins are borderline for real. Phillies probably aren't, but you never know.

Dick Whitman will be here soon to let everyone know how correct he was in his Carter assessment. Dick was the guy who said Carter is what he always is, right?

Philly has been outscored by about 20, which tells a dubious story about its future.

The Phillies don't have enough offense, but Odubel Herrera seems to be a nice find. Herrera finished the 2015 season strong and the on-base skills seem to be real. If anything, Maikel Franco has underachieved so far. Still, it is going to be tough to stay in contention with one of the league's worst offenses even with the solid pitching.

The Phillies are 10th in the majors in team ERA. Maybe Velasquez and Nola are pitching a little over their heads, but both have the upside to be quality starters. The back of the bullpen has been outstanding. Nobody seems to trust Jeanmar Gomez, but he leads the majors with 14 saves. Maybe if/when they falter, they can get some value in a trade and turn it over to Hector Neris or David Hernandez.

Pretty sick catch and tag by Didi and the after initial safe call replay overturns it.

Pretty sick punch by Roughned Odor on Joey Bats.
