The promos between Bray and Heyman could be gold.

My first show was when I was 8 -- The Last Tangle in Tampa in 1980. Harley Race-Dusty. And I am ashamed to admit that the only thing I recall specifically --other than it being hot as flying fuck (August, outdoors, Florida, whoda guessed!) -- is seeing the American Dream in his birthday suit. Gah! Dad was covering it and brought me into the locker room. Some things you can't unsee. I don't even fucking remember if I got to see him cut his promo after the match!

Nice on the lists of shows you guys have been to.

For me, Survivor Series 2000 in Tampa: Known for Taker vs. Angle and Angle's brother came out from under the ring to save Angle's title after taking a Last Ride and the ref stopping the count when he realized it wasn't Angle.

I was in attendance at Raw for a Rock and Sock Connection match, I think vs. The Dudleys, I got to see an Edge and Christian vs. The Hardy's cage match as well.

I was at ECW Guilty as Charged when Taz made Shane Douglas tap out. 2nd row baby!

As for the end of RAW: Man, if they don't have Bray win the title I'm going to be a little miffed. They're building it, they're letting him do the 4-horsemen of the Apocalypse thing and they decimated Lesnar/Reigns at the end.

That botch with Titus and Henry was clearly Titus overthrowing Breeze. It was actually pretty funny but man it did look bad.

Also, Becky Lynch's promo on Charlotte and Ric was awesome. Ric accepting the match on behalf of Charlotte was damn cool as well just because it gave Charlotte a chance to react in the background. I also wonder if Becky will have anyone in her corner at The Rumble (Foley has been a rumor but I dunno w/his back trouble).

Around what time should we expect the Rumble match to begin Sunday? The last conference title game will be over around, what, 9:30? The Rumble matches usually last an hour, right? So they should be fine to start it at 10, I'd assume.

    That sound right?

I would guess the Rumble would start around 9:30 - 9:45

Yeah, that should still work for those watching the NFL and WWE. Nice.

I've said it before but I'm pleasantly surprised with the Becky-Charlotte story, Becky having been my fourth favorite of the 4 women by a pretty big margin. I find myself really looking forward to their match, if this was one an NXT show it would no doubt be a show-stealing type match. Can they translate that to a bigger crowd on the main roster stage? I'm excited to see if they can.

It's such a basic feud, involving two main components: 1. Betrayal and 2. The championship. No catty bullshit, no wondering who to cheer for, no Total Divas crap. It's a breath of fresh air.

I think that's why NXT is so popular. They go back to the basics with simple storylines punctuated by good, action-packed matches.

It might help them that the Rumble is in Orlando and that's NXT's backyard.

To me, there are a lot of ways they can go with the Rumble but the one thing they have to do is leave the match with three clear-cut Mania main feuds established.
If they're going to go HHH-Reigns, they have to establish that and they have to establish what to do with 1.) Lesnar and 2.) Wyatt. Both need to be involved in real feuds by the end of the PPV. If they feud with each other (Which I hope to hell doesn't happen), then you need a premiere third feud for someone like Owens, Bryan or Ambrose.
If, however, they go Lesnar-Reigns then we need answers to 1.) Where's HHH and how does he factor into this? and we need at least two other feuds built on the backs of Wyatt, Owens, Bryan or Ambrose.
