Is there any chance Daniel Bryan factors into any of this? Its basically an emergency in terms of all these injuries and the Cardinals doctor allegedly cleared him. Is the WWE really that much more concerned than the NFL with wellness? Are they gun shy because of Punk? Gun shy to push him because of the last two years? Or HHH just hates his guts?

I think we'll know by Monday.
If he's not in the Rumble, or bare minimum not back by Monday, I think it's very possible we've seen the last of DB in the WWE.
At this point, this has to be as dire a situation as the WWE has faced in the modern football stadium era of WrestleMania.
You're trying to sell 100K seats and you lose three surefire Mania main-eventers to injury (Cena, Rollins, Orton), two to Hollywood (Rock, Batista) and haven't booked a handful of others well enough to properly put them in line for that kind of push? (Sheamus, Ambrose, Owens, Wyatt)
If this isn't the time to pull the trigger on a DB return, what is?

I'd throw Sting in there, too.

I think Sting's a no-go, based on the neck injury he had against Rollins at Night of Champions. He'll probably need surgery soon, so I doubt he'll do anything in Dallas beyond the Hall of Fame.

Sting reveals he needs neck surgery

No, I meant I'd throw Sting into the group of injured main eventers.

I don't think it's Trips who hates his guts. I think it's more Vince being way out of touch and Kevin Dunn who just doesn't see anyone other than someone who fits his type as being a big star.

I think we'll know by Tuesday. Mightt be better to bring him after the Rumble so as not to hijack it again. I'd assume to be safe Bryan would get a non title main event against a Wyatt or Jericho. What about Bryan Taker?

Depends. Is Taker actually going to be around for the build up this time? Because last year was a joke IMO.
You can't build a key WM match without having one of the guys there the entire time.

I say they bring Bryan in at No. 30 with Reigns against three League of Nations guys. Bryan fights on Reigns' side for a few minutes and then turns and helps eliminate him. The last League guy jumps out, giving Bryan the title as HHH comes out and awards it to him as the crowd chants, "NO! NO! NO!"

Yes, the WWE needs faces more than heels, but this would be a great heel turn, and it lets them give Reigns his coronation at WM.

Tying Daniel Bryan in with The Authority and LON? I'll pass and I think it would get crapped on heavily.

It would be a great use of Bryan's popularity, and he makes an awesome heel, arguably one of the best in the business. Plus it gives the Authority someone to replace Rollins, something they desperately need. And it keeps HHH out of the ring. His turn would also give Reigns a rub since everyone would want to see Heel Bryan go down, and Reigns would be the one to do it. Doing this would go a lot farther toward establishing Reigns than a win over Trips would because everyone will expect him to beat Hunter if they face off.

Plus, seeing Bryan take Reigns down would be awesome because Reigns sucks.

I'm calling it now. This ain't happening. Then again, it is the WWE.

You know very well we're going to get HHH-Reigns at Mania. But the big question is, how long will it take Reigns to walk from the top of Jerrah World to get to the ring?
