That Ziggler video was fantastic.

Why can't Raw do stuff like that? Then again, just another reason Smackdown is the better show right now.

 

That was ... confusing.
Ambrose and Cena get Styles into a double submission move, to which Styles taps out and the bell rings. The match continues, though, since there wasn't a single winner, and somehow Styles comes back to land a chair shot on Cena and pin him for the win?

Setting up an elimination match for Survivor Series?

 

I haven't put the show on since I was busy and planning on watching the debate. It sounds strange that they had the main event early, but I guess they're kinda punting on the show since they figure everyone's going to be watching the debate. Just hope as many people watch the main event early before switching away.

 

That makes some sense. Seems like they're positioning Ziggler-Miz to be the show-closer.

This is just bizarre. Didn't they do that dbl submission on NXT a while back? And it was ruled a no contest rather than the match continues? I think it was during the Zayn vs Samoa Joe series?

Great job by Miz and Dolph. Not sure where Dolph can go but that was a great match. Probably should've closed.

Thought Nikki and Camella were really good too. Shows people besides the Horse women can tell a story in the ring.

 

I'm super bummed that Becky is out. I'm going to a SmackDown house show on Sunday. We're trying to get credentials to do stories, so I was obviously going to stalk interview her.

I can see why the title match went on first. The debate has got more carneys and hucksters than pro rasslin. Strange ending. I thought the match was over after the double submission.

Miz vs Ziggler stole the show. Hell of a match, hell of a crowd. Amazing that after SummerSlam that I was mocking it as the fried chicken feud, and they got me invested and forgetting about that commercial. I think Miz is such a hot heel now that they could put him in the world title picture later this year against a face. Maybe they turn AJ back while Cena and Ambrose go?

I haven't caught the end of Bray vs Orton yet.

 

My dad asked me this last night: Why didn't they restart the match without AJ?

Simple answer: Because it wasn't an elimination match.

The match was very good ... up to that point. Why ruin what they had built in the first 20 or so minutes with a double submission, which then led to mass confusion?

Ziggler-Miz should've closed the show. What a fantastic match.

Bray-Orton was even pretty good, with one of my favorites returning.
