I actually like the Browns new shade of orange. They should dump the Browns on the leg though.

The Browns letters running down the side of the leg is WNBA uniform-bad.

Le'Veon Bell tweeted that he will sign the franchise offer and return to the Steelers Sept. 1. I can understand wanting to miss training camp, but only one week to prepare and get the timing down with his teammates?

The entire holdout seemed a bit pointless. Even if the Steelers wanted, they weren't able to negotiate a long-term deal with him all through camp anyway. There was a report that he turned down a five-year, $60 million deal. I'm surprised they went that high. The guy is one screw-up from a 10-game drug suspension and injuries ended his last three seasons prematurely. Given that they can tag him again for next season, he just doesn't have the leverage.

A hold out just puts his performance at risk, which puts that long-term deal at risk.

Maybe it will keep him fresh and he'll avoid his yearly late-season/playoff injury.

Why is this the Ki-Jana Carter edition again?

Veterans holding out through all of camp and signing just before the season starts is a tradition almost as old as training camp itself.

    How much was guaranteed?

You know what else puts his performance at risk? Getting hurt in meaningless football games.

He's been in this offense for years, he'll be fine.

I don't doubt his understanding of the offense. His conditioning and timing are other matters.

I think he really pushed it to the edge, but he has hit the ground running after injuries and/or suspensions in the past, so that is a positive.

After watching Beckham felled by a borderline hit in an exhibition game, I might skip exhibition season, too, if I was a great player. Too much risk with non-guaranteed contracts

He seems like the Zen'est person on the planet. So calm. So at ease with himself.
