They probably agreed to induct him in exchange for a promise that he'll stay alive by never actually trying to wrestle again.

 

Saw a rumor of an AJ Styles/Shane McMahon Mania match......maybe Angle can go with Shane and they can go slow like the Bret/Vince "street fight" and this way AJ can do something real. He'd get a four star match out of a broom stick but a McMahon match would be such a complete and utter waste of AJ Styles....

 

So we get a Dusty finish in the tag title match. Yay.

 

Wow, they're actually doing a video tribute for Snuka.

And the crowd is fairly silent afterward. A few cheers, a few boos.

And now they show a bunch of tweets, including Rock.

I'm frankly surprised.

 

Honestly, if they did a video for Chyna, as ugly as that split was, I felt they'd do one for Snuka.

 

The issue with Chyna, though, was swallowing personal feelings and recognizing a memorable talent. For all her faults she hadn't harmed anyone but herself.
Snuka was charged with a murder in the past year that the owner of the company might have helped to cover up. That's treading dangerously close to Benoit territory.

I would have been OK with a graphic at the beginning of the show with a picture and his years. Show it, acknowledge it, and move on. But that video was a bit much.

 

Gallows and Anderson are still heels right? How often does a heel get a Dusty finish? Sheesh. Who's this supposed to help get over?

 

Yeah, it does seem a little back-asswards. Usually it's done where the face wins, then doesn't get the belt.

 

No they haven't. DDP and Rude are rumored, but hasn't been officially announced.

 

My level of excitement for the Bliss Becky cage match is off the charts.....honestly, probably looking forward to this more than any 1 match since like Survivor Series

 

Well, at least the rumblings were true in regard to the end of that match.
