They said the pre-show starts at 5 p.m. EST.

    It's going to be a 6-hour show.

They'll probably have a bunch of filler, and an unannounced match or two.

Plus, figure Styles/Cena is going to go 30-45 minutes itself.

At least an hour of the pre-show is going to be filled with lots of talking, so there goes time for matches.

If they're going balls to the wall for the Rumble, can you imagine what they've got planned for Mania?

I still don't care about yet another Reigns title match.

I love Goldberg, but damn, never let him near a live mic again.

Bayley bores me. Gosh darnit, she's just happy to be here! She's a fan, just like me! So was Stone Cold. But he had more personality.

Are they working me? Or does The E really not care enough about talent not named Cena and Reigns? That's how they hype a match at one of the four biggest shows of the year? John Cena vs some guy. I don't know why I wonder why they can't build stars. (And Cena didn't do shit to earn a title shot.)

Mickie is STILL fine. (But you leave my Becky alone, you bitch!)

I love lumberjack matches when done right.

Talking Smack continues to delight. Last week's show made me a fan of Mojo.

In other business, don't forget that on Thursday ESPN airs the 30 for 30 on the XFL. The director is making the podcast rounds, appearing on Jericho and Sam Roberts, to name a few. I'm really lookijg forward to this. I actually liked the XFL. I went to a game in Birmingham with a college buddy and we had a great time. YouTubets have some full broadcasts online, so I checked out a few. I don't follow the NFL for exactly what the XFL marketing was boasting: NFL games bore the shit out of me. The only game I watch in full is the Super Bowl, and that's mostly for commercials (hoping for a preview for The Last Jedi this year). Watching those old XFL games on YouTube reminded me how much I liked it. I didn't care about the qaulity of play. It was a spectacle. I loved it.

Counted 3 holy shit moments on the Takeover. Wasn't that excited about this one but it delivered. Solid solid show.

I hate when they have the champion come out first. The champ should come to the ring second every time because he's the champion.

Some good matches so far. A couple I couldn't care less about. Shocked they put Sasha Banks in the pre-show and then had it go the way it did. Disappointed with how they ended the Universal title match. Hope the Rumble doesn't suck. And please don't let Goldberg or Lesnar win.

Two great matches with Universal and WWE titles.

Looks like Reigns will interfere and get Stroman out, and Rollins, even though he is "banned" from the dome, will somehow sneak past security.

With Cena winning, I have a feeling Undertaker wins it by dumping out Goldberg and Lesnar together.

I'm a bit surprise Bayley lost so cleanly. Doesn't make much sense.

As long as Reigns didn't win, I'm OK with it.
Cena-Styles was great, as expected. People have their problems with Cena, but what he's done in the ring to evolve, reinvent himself and diversify his repertoire the last three or four years is truly remarkable. When he's in there with a guy who can do the same like Owens or Styles I actually look forward to his PPV matches nowadays.

Can somebody please hit Enzo Amore with a crowbar?

Jericho is laying low. I like that. Maybe we get the "surprise return" at the end and the guy actually wins to set up Jericho-Owens for Wrestlemania?

Surprised Strohman got eliminated so quickly. Thought he'd hang around.

And Strowman was eliminated by somebody he's not going to be feuding with. I think Zayn was the only one in that group who's even on Raw. Curious decision.
