    First on the left is George Gordienko,. Second guy on the right is Don Leo Jonathan.

    Jonathan was a top big man. I've barely heard of Gordienko.

    Looking at Gordienko now, he had a 30-year career, with a couple NWA title matches against Lou Thesz, and was prominent in Canada and Europe. Thesz called him one of the top legitimate wrestlers.

    Interesting thing about Gorilla. He actually owned a piece of the WWWF in the 1970s and early 80s. He sold his shares to Vince in exchange for, I think, some cash, and the guarantee of a job for life.

    Imagine if he'd held onto his percentage, though. He may have been out of work, at some point, but his descendants would have been super rich.
