I couldn't believe we didn't see Samoa Joe instead of Dillinger. Or Triple H or someone that would've been a real surprise.

I don't see where they go with Charlotte now. Bayley lost clean, so drop her a notch. Sasha got demolished. No one wants to see Nia Jax vs. Charlotte at 'Mania. Maybe they do what I really hope they would and somehow work Asuka into the Raw picture? Heck, leave the NXT title on her and have Charlotte talking about how no one in the back can beat her and then have Asuka show up.

If Reigns somehow ends up against Owens again at Wrestlemania....well, fuck that.

I could see them doing Wyatt-Orton at 'Mania if they can find a way to use Cena. Maybe actually do Cena-Undertaker so he can carry him through the match.

Another note: Who the hell did New Day piss off?

What bugs me is that they hyped up that Rollins was banned from the dome. Which usually means he appears anyway. But he didn't, and the angle just gets pushed to Raw. Missed out on a golden opportunity.

Someone suggested on Cageside Seats that the best thing would have been Rollins attacking Trips during an opening Takeover promo, since he would know he was there. That would have been fantastic, instead if just getting booted by security.

Orton winning? Unless they're doing something with Bray, then meh. Better than Reigns winning, but nobody wants to see Orton/Cena again for the 8368th time.

It says something about how many times Orton and Cena have feuded that no one wants to see it again -- even though it's been more than two years since the last time they were in a ring together.

I got no problem with Orton. Because of injuries and being moved around the card, he hasn't held a singles title since dropping to Bryan at WM30. But Cena vs Orton? There has to be something new to it. Bray vs Orton? We know where the feud is likely going, so does it need the title?

It's a hell of a long shot, but the Chamber is so random that someone completely different wins the title. Corbin, for example. Cena loses a rematch because Styles wants to screw with him, setting up Styles/Cena 4. Bray feuds with Harper, who keeps messing with him. So what is Bray and Orton stayed tight? Bray finds it more fun to manipulate the champ than be the champ? It would be that kind of weird booking that allowed Bray to never hold a title but not look bad (he only looked weak because he kept losing the big matches, not because he didn't win a belt). His character just wants mayhem and destruction. It makes a little sense.

Fuck it, we're getting the obvious.

That's my thing with Orton. I don't mind him winning if I could see where they were going. I've always thought the Rumble should give you an idea what we'll see at 'Mania. Right now, I have no clue what they have in mind. Maybe that's a good thing, but a 'Mania feud should have more than a few weeks to build.

It's definitely a good thing with the entire Mania card.....despite the rumors the only set in stone match seems to be Hs/Rollins.

Reigns could face Taker.....or get into a program with Strowman over the title match. Taker has beef with both Reigns and Goldberg now....Lesnar should be hella pissed at Goldberg but since he just got owned again he could move on......Strowman got tossed by Corbin which leaves him wide open since they can't feud....

Any of that stuff could be real foreshadowing, or it could just be junk they move on from like Lesnar-Wyatt last year.

What the fuck are they doing with Lesnar?

I'm having a hard time finding any fucks to give about most of this right now.

i think Orton will do a match between now and wrestlemania in which he loses his title show--maybe to bray wyatt? they pull out the stip about losing title shots so often with on results, it would be nice to have it actually happen

My best guess: They have Goldberg go for the title at Fast Lane and Lesnar costs him the match and that sets up Lesnar-Goldberg.

If not that, then they're going to put him in a title match at 'Mania, which will be a disaster.

Yeah, but Goldberg already squashed him twice. And, Goldberg has shown he still can't even do his entrance without getting winded.

All they've done is castrate their only monster heel for a temporary nostalgia pop.

I'm hoping that after he showed he can't go a full match last night, they do as little with Goldberg as possible. Maybe they can talk him into putting over another monster by taking a quick pin at 'Mania, but I doubt it. But they seem to be set on doing something big with him.
