Unless you just reenact Austin and Tyson and basically have Sasha come out and tell her she's an insult to wrestlers, doesn't deserve to be there, go spend two years in NXT, etc.

But ultimately if Ronda signs I assume it's so she can go over like all the celebs do. Sasha would almost have to play it like HBK played losing to Hogan and I think the E would lost its shit over that.

The Kevin Owens Show actually has a guy standing in the ring with the sign of the show on his head.

 

Cross threading with my post last week in the 2016 thread, we got Goldberg confronting Owens and a Reigns/Goldberg double spear, albeit on Strowman instead of each other.

Maybe some writer on the E really does read this site? If so, I'd like a royalty.

 

If they did that in Atlanta, they could play off the whole Georgia Tech (Reigns) vs. Georgia (Goldberg) thing.

 

It was an interesting segment......teasing out Reigns/Goldberg is different and letting Roman face a bigger face takes a lot of pressure off him. I liked that Goldberg seemed to bring out some of the bad ass indy KO as opposed to the weenie best friend KO we've been getting. They should've made a joke about Jericho kicking his ass backstage at Nitro.

The only crappy thing is we know it's going to be Lesnar/Goldberg so this is all just a tease.

 

Segment would have been even better had Lesnar actually come out as a surprise. And I agree on KO. He looked like he finally woke up.

I was hoping Jericho would have dropped a Greenberg reference, or that he's "3-0" against him.

 

Glad I wasn't the only one hoping Jericho would say something like, "Goldberg, you know I can handle you, so don't try anything funny."

 

KO condescendigly calling him Bill reminded me of some of Bret Hart's last good promo work in that program at the end of WCW.

 

Great Smackdown. AJ Styles lit up Cena. Great promo.
