Other question: from all the gimmicks in the Attitude Era, which one do you think would be more efficient today in 2017?

I think with the Orton timeframe, he waited until Bray fully trusted him. When he said he wouldn't fight him for the title, Bray "gave him the keys to the kingdom," --- ie trusted him with his secrets. Just goes to show you, never turn your back on a viper :D

I have no idea what this does for AJ.

Snek likes to make chaos. Snek throws WWE world championship into turmoil as WrestleMania approaches. Never trust Snek.

Again, let me gush over SmackDown. I love it even on a down week. So much better than Raw.

I really think an evolution of character would do wonders for Luke Harper. Maybe trim the beard, keep the hair, change the gear. But do it slowly. He could be a strong upper mid-carder for SD.

Just because KO beats up Jericho, wears a suit, and stops being funny....I'm supposed to think he stands a chance against a guy that squashed Bork Lazer? Here's what makes sense: 1. Goldberg wins title, match with Bork is now a title match. 2. Jericho interfers so KO keeps title without jobbing Goldberg. KO vs Jericho is for the title, Goldberg vs Bork is regular match. 3. Why the fuck would Bork interfere to cost Goldberg the title? Then he screws himself out of a title match. Makes no sense, but it is The E after all.

The E has killed Bayley. They brought her up at the wrong time, then inserted her into the title picture too fast. If RAW had more women for The Queen to work with as a place holder, then they could have more carefully kept Sasha vs The Queen simmering until WM.

Too bad about Naomi, but good for Becky to get to resolve the Alexa feud. Becky got the WWE babyface treatment where the heel never gets comeuppance as the blow off match has interference to set up the next program (Mickie) for the face.

Wondering what the Dead Man is doing this weekend.

Goofy Mankind would fit in fine in the PG Era.

Austin and Rock would have some of their personality neutered.

Undertaker would fit in fine, as long as he wasn't sacrificing any women on crosses or hanging anyone.

    Next up:

Better rivalry: Triple H vs Shawn Michaels or Undertaker vs Kane?

In terms of just better overall matches: HBK vs. HHH blows Taker/Kane away.

Here's another one: which match(es) do you think doesn't get as much love than they should?

Personally, I rewatched Big Van Vader vs Ric Flair from Starrcade '93 (in which Flair had to retire if he didn't beat Vader for the title) and I absolutely loved it. Great commentary from Tony Schiavone & Jesse "The Body" Ventura as well, hyping up how Vader absolutely destroyed the competition during his reign as WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

The story they told during that match, and before, with Flair saying goodbye to his family before leaving for the match, was very well done. The problem, though, is that I knew Flair wasn't retiring; it seemed nutty that after all the years of being a Nature Boy, that now he was a family man, and that it was a substitute because Sid Vicious was supposed to beat Vader, but got dumped after Scissorgate.

As far as other matches that don't get love, I'll go with Savage vs. Tito Santana from the Boston Garden when Savage won the IC title. Some remember the ending, in which Savage used a foreign object to win, but the match itself is quite good.

Also, the first Cactus Jack vs. Vader match (where Jack gets his nose broken and wins by countout) is a great brawl which got overshadowed by the second match in which he was powerbombed on the concrete.

HBK vs. Mankind, in the only time they ever faced each other, is a lot of fun.

In terms of telling a great story, I've always loved Cena's debut against Kurt Angle, when nobody knew who the heck Cena was, and he ended up going toe-to-toe with him.

Call me a mark but Im kind of excited about the Reigns Strowman match.
Roman has a tendency to deliver physical epic PPV bouts and Im looking to seeing what that looks like vs Strowman.

That and Joe/Zayn should deliver big time.

We have A New Day skit and with roughly an hour and 15 left, we still have the women's title, the hoss fight and the Universal title match.

    Don't blink, or you'll miss Goldberg/ Owens.
