I saw a minute of it, then flipped away to the football game. Glad I did.

Because I now keep up with these things, that does put Jericho in a tie for third with Triple H for most combined major WWE championships (one of the various world titles, U.S., IC or tag). They both have 21.
Cena is second with 22, and Edge is far and away the leader with 31.

Plus, Jericho's among the last active guys to have held a Dubya See Dubya title or EC F'n W title.

So his tally is 33 Titles from the Big Three, plus assorted titles or championship trophies from Japan (according to wiki)....
    6 world titles
    9 IC titles
    1 US title
    9 tag team titles
    1 European title
    1 Hardcore title
    1 WCW TV title
    4 WCW Cruiserweight titles
    1 ECW TV title

According to the other E(SPN), the 30 for 30 XFL air date is Feb. 2, a few days before the Super Bowl. Appropriate.

I didn't mind RAW too much last night. But obviously Smackdown just has a better flow.

Also, if I were the Vaudevillains, I'd get on Jack Gallagher for gimmick infringement. This is what they should have done with them though, instead they give it to a Cruiserweight and the Vaudes remain buried and destined for endeavouring.

If you included all WWE titles, Crash Holly would be among those leaders with all those Hardcore titles he won and lost in the 24-hour rule.

It's kinda funny to see Crash Holly among those other names you listed.

According to wwe.com, 27-time hardcore champion Raven is the most decorated champion in WWE history.

Also, Stevie Richards is a 21-time hardcore champ. I somehow missed every single one of those.

I actually did the championship count as a Sporcle quiz a while back. It's where I keep up with it now, adjusting to the total every time one changes hands. Haven't had to add any names since I made the quiz, but I think a few guys are starting to get close to my arbitrary cutoff of six.
I limited it to the world titles, U.S., IC and tag because those were the ones with the longest continuous lineages. The TV titles, European, Cruiserweight and Hardcore titles have all come and gone at various points.

The WCW TV title had a continuous run from 1974 to 2000. The current U.S. title has only been around for 13 years, having been unified with the IC title in 2001 and not being reactivated until 2003. Prior to that, its lineage ran from 1975 to 2001. So as far as continuous lineage goes, the WCW TV title and the U.S. title are a push. (Sorry, I'm a TV title fan, so I had to point this out.)

Yeah, but the TV title has been extinct for a long time and I'm not sure it was ever treated as a "major" belt. The WCW/NWA championship and U.S. championship were always above it in the pecking order.

And I'm admittedly a little inconsistent with that quiz. I think I counted the U.S. title reigns all the way back to the 70s, but only counted the world championships from a wrestler's time in WWE/WWF. Hence, why Ric Flair only has two WWE championships to his credit even though he's rightly recognized as a 16-time world champion.

I loved how WCW's TV title was a mini version of Big Goldie.

I disagree that the TV title wasn't treated with as a major belt in WCW. Yes, it was No. 3 in the pecking order, but in the 1980s and early 1990s there were some great feuds with wrestlers who easily could have stepped into the U.S. title picture when they were going for the belt. In 1985 and '86, Dusty Rhodes -- at that point a former NWA champion -- held the belt multiple times, as did Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson. Sting, The Great Muta and Anderson had some amazing TV title matches. Lex Luger held it after holding both the U.S. and World titles and between his World title reigns. It was the No. 3 title, but this was when WCW actually showed respect to its No. 3 title.
