2017 Pro Wrestling Thread

I haven't watched in 3 weeks. I've not done this in 20 years. I'm not into it right now. Lack of good characters and stories is killing my interest. Good matches just aren't enough.

And I miss the bra & panties matches.

 

For those who grew up reading the Stanley Weston magazines, aka the Apter Mags, here's a fun story taking a look back at the heyday of the mags. Could also kinda go in the journalism thread, but I figure it would be more appreciated here.

Used to love buying them at stores as a kid and as a teen, just hang out in the magazine section and read them. It got to the point where my Mom would just leave me at the magazine section and go do her shopping. It was easier on her instead of having a kid telling her to hurry up because he was bored.

I also remember the women's apartment wrestling ads for videos, and was always tempted (once I turned 18, naturally) to order one, but never did. I do recall one photo of an ad of a woman holding down another woman with one foot (think Jericho arrogant pin), only the woman getting pinned was face down with her hair strewn all over the place. I always wondered what she really looked like.

 

Probably like Chris Jericho.

So the E has been advertising six women for tomorrow night's MITB, but the promo image only shows five.

Any guesses as to the sixth? My money is on Maria.
