Watching the Miz-Slater match last night made me wonder: Does Heath Slater even have a finishing move? Has he ever been in a position to need or use one?

What is the purpose of giving Lana 2 rematches and squashing her worse each time?

And Cenas big return feud with all these new possibilities is......another go with Rusev.

And Tony Schiavone telling me to stay tuned for Braves baseball on TBS just started playing in my head.

    WWE just released Austin Aries.

    Did I miss something?

We don't if anything happened backstage, or if Aries asked to be released, but this make me pretty mad.

The WWE really underutilized him. That said, that's what they do with talented wrestlers his size.

EDIT: Apparently he asked for it, they granted it.

Yeah, he was really underutilized. While Neville has done a great job as champion, I've thought that the two of them should have traded the belt back and forth and had an epic feud, followed by Aries moving up and challenging for the IC/US titles.

Looks like WWE went with the rare title switch at a house show. Styles beat Owens for the U.S. title at MSG.

Wonder if they'll just switch it right back before Tuesday or let it stick.

Dixie Carter is appearing on the WWE Network on Monday for a Kurt Angle documentary. The E is treating it like Bischoff hugging Vince on Raw, but neglected to realize no one gives a shit about Carter.

It was odd Aries never won the cruiser title in a 3+ month feud. I was never a huge fan of his. He was pretty good on commentary but I guess he thinks he can do more. Good for him for betting on himself like Cody did.

Says a lot about 205 Live and how its been booked/perceived by the talent. Aries is one of only a few guys that's secure enough to know he can make similar money in ROH or working a Cody schedule, that can afford to say hey this sucks if it's not evolving I want out of it. I don't really like Zach Sabre either but I remember at the time people were wondering why he didn't sign with WWE after the tournament......pretty much what's happened to the division, if I had to guess.

Out of curiousity, why don't you like Sabre Jr.?
