Well that sucks. I get why they want Lesnar as champ, but that was a golden opportunity to mint a huge new star and it feels like they missed it.

Very entertaining show. My only quibble is with the main event finish. I think Brock should have sold the clutch more and taken longer to cover Joe after the F-5, then have Joe kick out. Then do a little more brawling before Brock finishes him with a second F-5.

Or, have an early 5F out of desperation with a kick out before the suplexes, then the finish.

Otherwise, excellent stuff. It almost seems like the ambulance match was a double-turn. Braun was looking sympathetic after the ambulance, and Roman crashing it is definitely a heel move.

    Yeah, that was great.

There was an early 80s WWF match on YouTube a while back where George (the Animal) Steele went up,against a jobber who was double jointed. Steele put him in the flying hammerlock, and it looked like the guy's arm was coming off.

Bliss has pulled that "dislocated arm" bit before against Becky Lynch on SD. Announcers sold it like they never saw it before, which was weird for me because they plug the other brand all the time.

GBOF, despite a ridiculous name and some incredibly funny memes coming out of it "Big Ass" and "Sasha "Eat Balls" was a damn good PPV. Sets up SummerSlam very nicely.

No way Joe's done with Brock and I can see a Heyman turn coming with him backing Joe, netting Joe the title. (He's done it before with Big Show.) We'l see tho.

Won't be able to watch RAW tonight, OT at work, so you just know all the good work they did last night will be crapped on tonight probably.

Not entirely related but I caught the HBO mockumentary Tour of Pharmacy------Cena has a part in it and it's hysterical

I was pleasantly surprised by most of the matches last night.

Neville and Tozawa deserve better than being stuck on the pre-show. And with how the crowd reacted after Enzo's promo, which I thought was damn good, maybe they should have moved Enzo and Cass to that spot. The crowd just seemed dead during that match.

Surprised they let Bray win a match on PPV. Figured for sure they'd give the win to cover boy.

Tag match was the match of the night. And we got color at the end, which I think contributed to what felt like a rushed finish. The start was fantastic, with Cesaro running a bit of interference to get a fall early.

Bliss and Banks was OK. Bliss dislocating her shoulder and then popping it back in was a nice touch, even if she is double-jointed. The look on Banks' face during that part was great.

The ambulance match was fine for it was, but it's gonna go to waste if there's not a double turn that comes of it. If Joe and Roman are meeting for the No. 1 contender's spot, I'm hoping Braun finds a way to get involved and fuck shit up.

Title match was actually better than I thought it would be. They made Joe look incredible, and even Brock was complimentary of him afterward. Said Joe was one of his favorite opponents, so hopefully that means the feud is far from over.

The blood was hard way. It came when they landed the double top rope move, and I think what happened was Sheamus' head popped off the mat and caught Matt's face on the rebound. Had to watch it a couple of times to figure it out.

    Definitely a hard way cut.

And I see on RAW that the TOP GUYS are back. FINALLY! You wanna break the Hardyz? A few Shatter Machines outta do the trick. (Hoping that we will actually get to see the Broken Universe sometime soon).

That was a great exchange between Reigns, Joe, Lesnar and Heyman. Seems like they're planting the seeds for discord between Heyman and Lesnar, with them wanting to face different guys. Heyman maybe playing the "you can beat Roman easier than Joe" card and sensing how dangerous Joe really is, while Brock gets cocky because he won yet again.

So with Angle next week: is he having an affair with Steph, leading to a match with Triple H at Summerslam?

For some reason I'm terrified of (for storytelling reasons, not social ones) I have this weird feeling he's going to come out as gay.

I was thinking either that, or Dixie's coming in as a character.

I hope it's not Steph. We don't need more evil GM crap for a long while. It's fine having Angle in his role.
