He's maybe not the best at cultivating image, but Dan Gilbert is beloved in Cleveland. Northeast Ohioans loved his letter to LeBron in 2010, they loved that he brought LeBron back (which his tail-between-the-legs-ing contributed mightily to). They love that he's the only owner in 54 years to own a team in town that won a title. To paraphrase his kid at the lottery, what's not to love?

The only good thing about the Rockets deal with Chris Paul is that it was for four years, not five.

Of course, they had to re-sign him, but the final year or two of that deal could be pretty ugly.

You kind of got an inkling of it right here.

I think LeBron is going to bring out the best is Ball.

Lebron is going to fix his shot?

The shot is still ugly but he doesn't need to score nearly as much now. He just needs to run the show.

That is, he doesn't need to take many jumpers.

Is Leonard better than Kyrie? Who plays Love on the Lakers?
Two things we know, LeBron wasn’t chasing rings. It’s not about contract value.
LeBron needs the adulation of a larger audience.

Leonard is better than Kyrie. He's the 2-time Defensive Player of the Year.

They only had 8 under contract for next season, and that includes the ghost of Luol Deng. Add LeBron, Stephenson, Pope and McGee and you're at 12 plus draft picks who remain unsigned.

Lavar's first attempt to explain basketball to LeBron will not end well for the former. Thanks in advance, LeBron!
