I'm not watching or listening (thank gosh). Did Wilson get tossed? Again?

No, he was out when Nicky got tossed on a face off a few minutes ago

I don’t even know what just happened but good win Ducks, I guess.

Exciting and unexpected. The Ducks average slightly more than 2 goals a game. This ends a 4-1-0 trip with wins over Tampa and Wash.

    Fuck hockey.

Read our story earlier about this wasn't a Ducks team that could score in bunches. Sure as hell were today and, I guess, the Caps got what they deserved.
Thankfully, a very shitty game doesn't mean they have to give back the Cup.

It was over when the guy sitting next to me starting talking about how it was nice that the Caps were winning but that a 5-1 game was kinda boring. I just sort of stared at him blankly.

The proposed realignment splits Phoenix away from the other Pacific teams. Maybe the NHL doesn't want all the western Canadian teams in one division, but this makes a little more sense from a rivalry perspective:

Northern: Calgary, Chicago, Edmonton, Minnesota, Nashville, Seattle, Vancouver, Winnipeg
Southern: Anaheim, Arizona, Colorado, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Jose, St. Louis, Vegas

Nashville is still the outlier but I don't know how you solve it other than try to get them in with other Central Time Zone teams.

How high will be expectations be for Seattle based on what Las Vegas did?

Well, like other fans of Seattle teams, they'll act like they invented hockey within three months.

No it doesn’t, the travel for that Northern division would be ridiculous.
