    MRI shows "inflammation" in Yankee first baseman Greg Bird's right foot. I know they love the guy's ability, but it really seems as if he is going to continue to have trouble staying on the field.

    Frank Schwindel pinch-hit late Saturday for the Royals, and homered. He has 8 for the spring, and leads KC in RBIs.
