If I'm Cousins and my choice is Cleveland at $30 million or literally anywhere else for $20 million, I'm not going to Cleveland.

“Think of how much Bertman’s mustard you could buy here, Kirk.”

“There’s a thing called Amazon Prime. I can have it sent anywhere.”

(Browns team huddles together murmuring “Dammit, that was our only salespitch.”)

Unless he decides based on the money (which I wouldn't fault him for at all), Minnesota seems like the obvious choice.

I still think he ends up in Arizona. No valid reason, though.

I heard the Vikings are the likely stop for Cousins.
Kelly was never a favorite player of mine, always seemed pretty arrogant (his early disses of Buffalo) - but to see not only how the city has rallied around him, and he has become a favorite son of the city, and all of the stuff he's had to deal with between his kid and his cancer, it's a pretty amazing story.

Jim Kelly is also in Adventure Scouts (2010), an absolutely insane movie that was so bad, it was so great, that my girlfriend and I saw on a random, rainy Sunday:

How do you think Robert Kraft’s girlfriend got pregnant — IVF or the TB12 method?

Apparently they're still together, and I have no doubt that Kraft and his family have made sure that documents have been signed, I'm guessing it is something less than IVF and more impersonal than the "direct" approach - Kraft doesn't want to have to take care of his kid's dad as well.

This is a lose-lose for everyone. Mahomes has not shown proof of ability to take reins in Kansas City, and it's not clear by any means that Alex Smith is a better QB than Kirk Cousins. If you ask me my opinion, I think it's certain he isn't. Maybe he has a better social club house aspect; but in my humble opinion, everything other than what we see on the field aside, I would take Cousins over Smith any day. That's what makes this a terrible move in my eyes. Alex Smith isn't your top QB, but he was enough in Kansas City where most of the other pieces of the puzzle were in place. Kansas City has too much talent to put themself in a Denver Broncos, no good QB at all position. It's terrible, really. Washington didn't gain a better qb. At best they gained an equal qb that is now at phase one of getting familiar with their program and circle. Lose, lose, lose.

Only winner is Cousins. Denver, Minnesota, and New York are all interesting fits for him, with dangerous potential.
