Cousins will land in Denver, I’d guess.

As Keenum...the Vikings play at least 9 games per year in a dome.

Anyone else have a hard time keeping QB names straight? Case Keenum, Blake Bortles, Kirk Cousins, Blaine Gabbert, Colt McCoy, Bryce Petty, Chase Daniel...hard to remember which ones are good, which ones are bad and which ones used to be characters on Melrose Place.

I appreciate the explanation. As a long-suffering Jets fan I've been curious about why the Redskins are so cold on him. It gives me Neil O'Donnell type concerns.

O'Donnell was a mediocre starter who was elevated for one season by a Pittsburgh offense that had a great pass-blocking offensive line and a deep group of playmakers at receiver. I think Cousins is a much better player.

The even weirder part is that the Redskins are supposedly considering hitting Cousins with the franchise tag again -- this time it would be something upwards of $30 million for one year -- just to try and recoup a mid-round draft pick when he signs with someone else. It would be funny if no one wanted to pay the price and Cousins wound up getting paid $30 million to back up Alex Smith.

Doug Williams said at the Combine that they aren't doing that.

That’s too dumb even for the Redskins.

Ah, OK. Most of my information on this comes from listening to Steve Czaban, and that was the hot rumor a week or two ago.

I think there is a chance that Cousins isn't better than Keenum was last year, but I think there is a chance he is better, whereas the Vikings probably got the absolute best year out of Keenum in 2017 and I don't think Cousins will be worse than him. I have no idea what the money difference is. Like, if the cost to go from Keenum to Cousins is worth the difference in variance. Cousins at $30M is probably an overpay, but how much is Keenum going to get? He's a free agent as well, I believe, and if Mike Glennon got three years, $45M before 2016, it's hard to imagine Keenum getting less pay year than $15M.

Glennon's ledger sheet: One year, $18.5 million.

He was shitcanned the other day.

Just like every other transaction that has happened (Marcus Peters trade, Alex Smith trade, etc) they have to wait until the new league year

I stand by the statement that he was shitcanned the other day.
