I think the way the NFL assigns officials pretty much eliminates any official from getting in. They will not assign someone to the Super Bowl for two consecutive years and seem to like to rotate assignments. Gibbs worked 14 championships in 19 years. There is no way the NFL will ever establish someone as the dominant official who works virtually every big game.

 

You guys know I was kidding about the Hall of Fame thing, right? Hence the smiley face emoji? It was an homage to Dick.

 

The Eagles just traded for Michael Bennett.

 

Also lots of chatter, including tweets from teammates, that Sherman is gone.

 

The overlooked part of this is that Jeff Triplette is also retiring, proof positive that there is a God.

 

I can't understand trades like this, or the Ajai deal. No one would have given them more?

 

He’s 32 with a big ticket and declining. He went to the perfect team for what he can provide.

 

Is there no other team he could have helped? Do you think they shopeed and took the best offer? Ajai too?

 

I would assume so.

He is also probably due a roster bonus.
