I remember when Al Davis traded a #1 (a Raiders 1 so you know it was a top pick) to the Pats for Richard Seymour, who did turn in two more Pro Bowl seasons, but was not a player who was going to be the difference in the Raiders winning a Super Bowl.

The Seahawks may have wanted multiple picks more than higher picks. They really haven't added a playmaker on either side of the ball in the last five years, and they seem to lose one every season.

I understand Joey from Staten Island creating a fake letter, but why is Rich Eisen?

I caught part of Eisen's show talking about it. Scott Van Pelt did get fooled by it, but he also called in to Eisen's show to admit his error and try to laugh about it.

I'd heard it was a 2 and 4 for Bennett. Figured the players the Seahawks needed could be found further down. But a guy with five catches and a 5 for Bennett and a 7? That's nuts.

Talib just went for a 5th. @DanOregon is shocked they didn’t get two firsts.

I get it. Cap space and a draft pick are deemed as valuable as a player. Perhaps the Broncos now have enough space (they freed up an $11 mil cap hit) to have a shot at Cousins. Back in the day you evaluated the players being swapped, not their contracts.

It’s not back in the day, it hasn’t been in 30 years.
