    Cousins will likely be the highest paid player in NFL history, simply because it is so rare for a premier quarterback to hit the free agent market in his prime.

    Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater still exist.
    Seems like returning to Bradford isn't a bad fallback option.

    Yeah, I think if the Vikings wanted to keep Bridgewater or Bradford, they probably would have tried before now.

    It's a really good fit. Cousins is not a bus driver -- he'll make plays down the field, and he's got the receivers to do it in Diggs and Thielen, not to mention a reliable tight end in Rudolph (I haven't checked -- those guys are all back, right?). He'll have a good running game to keep defenses honest. And when he makes the inevitable mistakes, he's got a big-time defense to bail him out.
