While restrictions suck, I'd think it's fair to ask about Florida. You're asking him about his father, not the WWE.

This is so simple, but one of the many reasons why I love wrestling.

Lost in the news of Bruno's death, but Paul Jones also died today. He wrestled in the Mid-Atlantic region in the 1960s through the 80s and was a manager of the Masked Assassins, the Powers of Pain and a lot of others in the NWA. RIP

Not to turn this thread into an emotional one, but this thought popped into my head:

Which wrestler over 60 would cause you most ‘pain’ if they passed away?

    For me, it’s Bret Hart.

I guess, even though he's not the most popular guy in the world these days, it would be Hogan.

Grew up watching him. He was the ultimate good guy during the mid-1980s, even though his act got stale.

Definitely Hogan for me, with Flair a close second.

Is it just me, or does that championship belt look like something someone might wear on a trip to an Oklahoma Shoney's?

Yeah, belts weren't always the best looking props in the world back then.

From my understanding, Buddy Rogers first used an old U.S. title belt when he was WWWF champ.

#1 Paul Jones was a great babyface in the Mid-Atlantic region. He was a really good worker and his split with Ricky Steamboat was epic. You knew he was a bad guy when he grew out a mustache!

Does Vince count as a wrestler for this discussion?

Besides Hulkster, I'd be pretty sad about JR and Mean Gene too

I'd count Vince, JR and Mean Gene in the discussion. I'd miss them all, even though Vince also doesn't exactly have the most cleanest hands in the world.

I'd mostly miss them because they were the voices of my childhood.
