And a couple of wrestlers on that list are lucky to still be alive (Bret and Roberts)

    RIP Anvil. Loved his character.

One of my favorite Anvil moments was this throwaway interview he and Bret gave with Mean Gene, right after their babyface turn. They were talking about dumping Jimmy Hart:

Gene: "But he got you guys the tag team title!"

Anvil: "Got us the title? He lost us the title for crying out loud!"

Lots of other fun memories of him. I cracked up laughing at the story Bret told in his book about waking up in the middle of the night and hearing a drunk Anvil apparently peeing on the hotel carpet. Next morning, Bret is pissed (no pun intended) and tells Anvil off. Anvil denies that he did it, tells Bret he was dreaming. Bret feels the carpet, which is dry. Mystified, he apologizes to Anvil, who accepts it, throws his suitcase on his bed, opens it up and finds pee all over it.

Apparently, he had major substance abuse issues later in life. RIP

Plus Jannetty and Hogan, who both nearly committed suicide.

Always loved it when Bret would slingshot him over the top rope onto the opponent. A big man flying like that was rare back then.

What!? I never heard that about Hogan. Career suicide, yes. Actual suicide, no.

Not 100 percent politically correct, but Anvil's reaction made me smile.
