Not to be macabre but does this put the kibosh on any Nattie heel turn on Rousey for the forseeable future? Whos gonna boo her now?

The respect and admiration the whole business has for her and her husband shows through in all the reaction today for sure

I hadn’t heard that before today.

This is the first I've heard Alzheimer's mentioned in regard to Neidhart, but I heard reports he had some communication/brain issues. He also had substance-abuse issues since he was in the prime of his career (Bret Hart mentioned that frequently in his book).

A few years ago, Chris Jericho had Neidhart and Tyson Kidd as his guests on a podcast. I thought having both of them on was a little odd, because outside of talking to tag teams or panel-type shows, Jericho usually had a one-on-one interview. A few minutes into the episode, I realized that Kidd was probably there to keep the interview from going off the rails, because Neidhart had trouble keeping focused and remembering things, and Kidd would interject and set things straight when that would happen.

OK, so I enjoyed when Ronda spoke from the heart, but none so much as a video tribute or an "in memoriam" panel for Anvil?

Yeah, they probably should have had something, although they may not have had much time to put together a video package.

ADD: One minute after I post this, they said they're doing a tribute next.

Ross Hart was quoted in the AP obit as saying Neidhart had Alzheimer's.

Speaking of which, I was amazed that the AP moved a 750-word obit on a guy who was well known but not exactly an A-lister.

Dan Gelston is the defacto pro wrestling guy for the AP out of Philly. He usually does something for WrestleMania each year.

Cue a speeding car pull into the arena floor with Ambrose behind the wheel.

With the shaved head, stocky build and stiff walk, Ambrose looked like one of the Bushwhackers.
