2018 Pro Wrestling thread

For the women's Rumble, my theory is that Charlotte enters in the first 3-4 spots and goes the distance, like her dad in '92. Then we get a Carmella cash-in during the post-match celebration. They could even work Rousey into that. Have Rousey and Flair as the final two. Flair eliminates Rousey, then Rousey comes back to cost Flair the title during the cash-in.

For the men's, as always there's a dozen different directions they can go. It'll probably be Roman Fuckin' Reigns, as much as I'd love to see him get the Santino Marella treatment and get eliminated in about 10 seconds to set up a feud with someone.
For a wild card pick, I'll go with the Undertaker. He enters late and wins, and then we wind up with Lesnar-Undertaker III for the title, in the place where the streak died.

 

I think they've made it known that the champs, Charlotte and Alexa, aren't in the Rumble -- just like the men's champs are never in that rumble (unless if it's specifically for the title, like when Triple H won it from Roman a few years ago).

Head: Nakamura.
Heart: Daniel Bryan, and we get a surprise pop and find out later WWE doctors cleared him a few weeks ago and they somehow kept it quiet.
Actual pick: I've got to think it's Reigns or Cena. Reigns would get another shot at his coronation. Cena would get a shot at breaking Flair's record. I could see the Elimination Chamber being for a shot at the Universal title and it's a Raw show this year, so I'm going with Cena.

Women
Head: Asuka
Heart: Asuka
Actual pick: Asuka.

 

MEN
Head: A.J. Styles, after he drops the belt earlier in the night to Owens/Zayn
Heart: Finn Balor, because a WM title match with Lesnar or Strowman would provide Daniel Bryan flashbacks
Actual pick: Roman Reigns, and Philly burns a week early
Wild card: Daniel Bryan, but I have serious doubts

WOMEN
Head: Asuka
Heart: Asuka
Actual pick: Nia Jax, to chase her friend at WM, before Asuka's time (finally) comes
Wild card: Ember Moon, she should be up soon. Rousey will be there, as a fan, and somehow gets involved with Charlotte to set up that match at WM

 

So Madusa/Alundra was on the pre-show interview.

Somehow, I doubt they only brought her in for that.

I still can't tell the Usos apart, but damn have they become a fun tag team to watch. I love the way they work in the ring together, with the quick tags and combo moves. There's a cerebral and strategic element to their style that so many other teams lack.
They've come a long way in a pretty short time. Wasn't all that long ago that they were filler for the division.

 

Looks like the men's rumble is happening early. Guess that means the women's is gonna close the show. Do they have something big planned for that?

A) Come before the women's Rumble?
and
