I think mine was Big Boss Man. I remember rooting for him when he was feuding with Hogan in '87 or '88. Not sure why he struck a chord with me. Like a lot of guys, I probably just liked his moveset or something.

Cruiserwieght Chris Jericho in WCW around 96-97. When he was throwing temper tantrums, ruffling up the ring announcer's suit then apologizing, collecting the masks of various luchadors.....incredible run

Loved to hate Piper. Such a punk. Jimmy Hart. Pat Patterson was the first wrestler I remember.

Rousey needs to work on her taunting game. I'm guessing she'll win Sunday.

It was either Eric Embry or Gentleman Chris Adams when he went heel. Could have been the Freebirds. I started young. Pissed my mom off to no ends. She several times threatened to stop watching wrestling with me if I was going to root against the Von Erichs lol.

That is such an interesting era back then. For the first half of the 80s, the Von Erichs legitimately were rock stars in the Dallas area, before drugs and emotional problems caught up to them.

Adams also was one of the first real tweeners for a while. He had Gary Hart as his manager, but he said he still hated heels, as well as the Von Erichs. He even was cheered when he faced them.

Free birds also were mostly heels, but they also faced other heels and was cheered. World Class wasn't afraid to have heel vs. heel matches, which was a major thing back then.

    This is classic old-school heel.

His father would be so proud on how far he has gotten in his career.

What match this weekend are you most looking forward to?

    For me, top 5:
    1) Gargano/Ciampa
    2) IC triple threat
    3) Styles/Nakamura
    4); Asuska/Charlotte
    5) Whatever happens with Strowman. I think it has the potential to be a memorable moment whether they decide to go comedy, legend, or monster return
