My son and daughter have both arrived in Moscow. They took different flights, Finnair from NYC for Josh, Air France from Paris for Hope, but they each reported their plane was chock full of Mexico fans, FWIW.

I think they will. They have tickets to the Bolshoi (son's girlfriend is a former ballet dancer and are going on a tour of something called the Golden Ring outside of Moscow. My son is very excited that one place they're visiting is the location of the world onion museum.

If they take the subway, they're in for a treat.

They are good. For them to tie Argentina it's an upset. It's not shoehorning American sports analogies. They are good, but they are not on the same level
as the top teams. Look at the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A, you see a lot of the top 30 players in those leagues from Iceland?

    Bingo.

On the current Iceland roster, just 6 of the 23 players play club soccer for a team in one of the big four leagues or for another highly touted, notable teams (specifically PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands).

    Argentina has 17.

Hell, the US team that just played a friendly against France had 11, most of them in their early 20s.

Weird that a lot of German fans are not in Russia. ;)
